For Mac OS X there are also two simple ways to find your router’s IP address

The first method:

  • Click Utilities and Terminal
  • The screen will open and you type netstat-nr | grep default
  • The IP will appear next to default

The second method:

  • Go to Apple menus click System references
  • Select Network References
  • Choose WiFi then click Advanced > TCP/IP
  • Next to router you will see the IP address

For iPad or iPhone simply go to settings, WiFi click(i) and the address is next to Router

For Android devices it’s much the same, go to settings click on WiFi click on your network and among other information you will find your IP address listed.
